Entity Related Parties List

Argus can maintain related parties information for the firms clients, employees and vendors. Argus supports very complex relationships. This is very useful when doing a conflict search. For instance if the firm represents a corporation in a matter then this allows you to add the all the corporations subsidiaries, board members and executive officers etc. 

This screen is the starting point for adding related parties to clients, however, this screen can be invoked from multiple places and then it adds related parties to the context that it was invoked for:

Client: This is the client id, it is pre-filled.

Company: Name of the client.

Related Parties Control List: This lists existing related parties for this client. It includes a Relationship key, Name of the related party, type of relationship and whether it's a adversarial or friendly relationship.

Add Button: Press this to add a new related party.

 Modify Button: Select a related party from the control list and press the Modify Button to change it.

Remove Button: Select a related party from the control list and press the Remove Button to delete it.

Press the Add Button to add a new related party.

Client: This is the client id, it is pre-filled.

Company: Name of the client.

Basic Tab

Profile: P = Person, O = Organization.

Company: Only enter a name here if the Profile is O (Organization).

Type Group: Select the radio button that describes the relationship -- either Adverse or Friendly.

Last Name: This is the last name of the Entity if it is a Profile type P. If the Profile type is O this is the contact at the organization.

Middle Initial: Middle initial -- same rule as Last Name apply.

First Name: First name -- same rule as Last Name apply.

Relation: This allows Argus to identify the type of relationship between these two entities.

Misc. Any miscellaneous information about this entity.
