I ask: why do you think you are experts on Indian food? And why don't you like any Indian restaurants? Indian restaurants have clever names like Passage to India or Chutni. Please don’t be prejudiced  against Indian food.

The protagonists of The Lunch are more familiar with Indian food than they let on. As for not liking any Indian restaurant, A's favorite vegetarian restaurant in the Twin Cities is Udupi. When it comes to northern Indian cuisine, however, we don't believe that any local establishment can compete with the best restaurants nationally.
