I am a hockey fan and live in Anoka County but I still read your reviews with great interest. Having read your review of Fhima’s – especially B’s comments about "sweaty stranger across the bar" I decided to have a post game drink and some bar food at Fhima’s. The service was terrible. I was served rudely by Wesley, W., bartender. First it took him 15 minutes to serve me a glass of wine and then I expected him to comeback and take my food order as I had asked for the menu. This didn’t happen. Finally hungry and annoyed I paid my bill and went around the corner to Kincaid's. I know you guys are snobs and wouldn’t be found dead in a place like Kincaid's but let me tell you after Fhima’s horrible service I thought I had gone to heaven. I was served my drink promptly with an order of miniature steak sandwiches that were delicious.

If your readers come to downtown St. Paul for an event avoid Fhima’s and make tracks for Kincaid's.

Editor Responds:

We forwarded your complaint to Fhima's and asked for a response.

B Responds:

Yes, I did mention the possibility of sweaty strangers but that was more tongue-in-cheek than reality. We did warn you about the food; however, it seems that you didn't even manage to get out of the starting gate.

Fhima's Responds:

We received your email regarding a dissatisfied guest at Fhima's. We welcome and thank you for any feedback we get. If a guest feels they were not taken care of, then they were not taken care, and for that we apologize.

Fhima's is a premiere restaurant with high standards for service as well as the quality of our cuisine. If the person who wrote the email happens to see this, we would like to invite them back to Fhima's to give us another try. We would like the opportunity to take care of them in the manner that we strive for.

Again, thank you for the feedback.

Regards,

Susan Rowland
