your review of The Sample Room, you should know that the "fake
ceiling" is actually the tin ceiling from the early 1900's that I
found when I peeled back over 100 years of remodeling. (The original
ceiling was wooden bead board and most of that is underneath, or above in
this case, the restored tin) After taking down each piece and
having it stripped of the lead paint and putting on a new coat of laquer,
we put it back up.
