Matter Event List

Argus interfaces with the standard Microsoft Exchange Calendar. In addition to that it provides some custom tickler/event handling features. One of these feature is the matter/event/alerter.

This screen shows a list of events that have been scheduled for this client/matter. Events can be deadlines for some task for example a deadline for filing a brief. Note: This feature requires the Argus Scheduling Server, therefore it is not available with Argus - Lite.

Client: This is the client id of the client. It is pre-filled.

Client Name: This is the name of the client associated with the id.

Matter: This is the id of the matter. This is pre-filled from the prior screen.

Description: This is the brief description of the matter.

The event control lists the events scheduled.

Add Button: Press this to add a new event.

Modify Button: Select an event from the control list and press to modify.

Remove Button: Select an event from the control list and press to delete.

Press the Add Button to add a new Event:

An Event will send an e-mail to the Managing Attorney and to two more designated e-mail addresses. The e-mails are sent 24 and 6 hours before an event.

Client: This is the client id of the client whose matter is having time added to it. It is pre-filled.

Client Name: This is the name of the client associated with the id.

Matter: This is the id of the matter for which time will be added. This is pre-filled from the prior screen.

Description: This is the brief description of the matter.

Date: This is the date when the Event is due.

Emails: This can hold up to two additional e-mail addresses that will be sent an alert.

Event Details: This is the description of the event.

The 24 Hour Alert Sent and 6 Hour Alert Sent boxes will be checked when the e-mail has been sent. This only appears when viewing/updating an entry.

Note: This will only work if Argus Scheduling Server is installed and running.
